MCS Base Coat For Exhaust System Coating

STIR AND SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE 1. ALL PARTS MUST BE ABSOLUTELY FREE OF ALL OILS, GREASE, MOISTURE, DUST, SCALE, OR CORROSION. SANDBLAST ALL PARTS. ( 120 GRIT AL. OXIDE OR SIMILAR ) 2. Clean all parts using acetone, M.E.K., or similar material. DO NOT USE petroleum-based solvents. 3. Apply coating in light fog passes to achieve a thickness of .001″ to .0015″. The minimum part temperature should be 65f if below the warm-up part. Spray all hard-to-reach areas first. 4. Inspect part for complete coverage. 5. Immediately dry coating in an environment of from 100f to 150f. The part should change to a flat GRAY/BLACK. 5. Bake part at a temperature of at least 500f. for one (1) hour. Time starts when a part reaches bake temperature. 7. Before applying a top coat, lightly Al. Oxide blast at 25/30 psi re-spray, dry, and bake. CLEAN UP: Clean equipment with water. DANGER: NON- Flammable. HEALTH HAZARD INFORMATION: Wear an approved mask to protect against airborne particles and vapors. Inhalation of vapors can lead to drying of the sinus and nasal membranes. If in contact with skin wash with soap and water. In the event of any severe reaction get medical attention. Do not ingest. KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN. Danger: Do not breathe vapors or mists from spraying. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. Use adequate ventilation to maintain exposure levels below established exposure limits (see MSDS).
